One of the most anticipated fights of the year is coming to The World’s Largest Gentlemen’s Club, Sapphire LV. Mayweather is placing his undefeated record on the line in a match up against an underrated 30 KO champion that is also undefeated. The odds for this fight are showing confidence in both sides, although Mayweather has the obvious favor to win, it isn’t like his past three fights which were twice as good for him. Money May is the best pound-for-pound boxer with more than a decade on his opponent but this hasn’t seemed to shake any confidence on Canelo’s end.
“I’m not going to fight the fight he wants me to. I will fight the fight I need to fight to win.”
Bold words Canelo was quoted saying when asked about his expectations of the upcoming fight. He does have youth and power on his side. Most would agree that he may have a few surprises up his sleeves in the fight including his famous ‘liver shot’. His belief being that Mayweather will bring out the absolute best fighter Alvarez can be and we will bring it all up on three 100 inch TVs.
