These acts are being are managed by SKAM, who are excited to see their artists enjoying guest DJ’s at Sapphire’s SINS night. A night originally started by two promoters in Las Vegas in which one recalls “Lil Jon said, ‘I want to be the resident DJ here!'” Sapphire’s party organizers work hard to bring in enough girls. Forty percent or so of the Sunday-night clientele is female, and getting them there involves some fast-talking and soft-selling. The guest DJ’s are excited to play to a crowd that is filled with more than just men. Women coming to the SINS nights mention that it reminds them of hanging out with their girlfriends in collage and that they enjoy getting lap dances. The environment is all around chill so while everyone is enjoying the entertainers and atmosphere, women feel it creates a space that makes it better to be approached.
