National Bikini Day is on July 5th. Bikinis have been around since 1946, taking the place of more conservative suits that came before them. A Frenchman created this scandalous two-piece to accommodate women trying to improve their tans — and we’re still reaping the benefits from them today.
There’s more than one type of bathing suit. Some popular style include triangle tops, bandeau tops, sport tops and flouncy choices with curtains and flowy pieces. Bottoms can be full-coverage, thong bottoms or everything in between. Trendy selections include interesting cutouts and prints. There’s no wrong answer to bikinis on the beach, by the pool or in the backyard.
While bikinis themselves aren’t allowed inside the club, Sapphire Pool & Dayclub is the Vegas hotspot to flaunt any kind of fit. Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays all summer long, Sapphire brings the fun all day and night at the sexiest pool party in Sin City.
