Las Vegas Spring Break 2013 Tips

Pools
Want to pregame before a big night out, or postgame after a crazy night of partying? Check out the pools Las Vegas has to offer. Any strip casino will have a pool for you to relax, have some drinks, and check out some eye candy. If you really want some eye candy though, you’ll need to check out the Sapphire Pool & Day Club, opening in April.

Bet on and watch March Madness
Even if your school won’t be in the big dance, March Madness is still the best tournament to bet on, and what better place to bet than in Las Vegas? Every casino has a sports book, where you can bet either on individual games, regions, brackets, and tons of other proposition bets. And if you want to watch the games with hundreds of gorgeous girls, come to Sapphire. We’re showing all the games live in HD, and we’ll even come pick you up for free. Just give us a call at 702 303 3430.

Ways to get Cheap Airfare and Hotels
Jetblue and Spirit are two airlines focused on cheaper airfare. You can definitely book way in advance to get cheaper flights, but booking last minute can also be very beneficial when looking for a deal. Expedia is useful, serving as a site to get both airfare and hotels. They also compare with other sites such as Orbitz, Kayak, Travelocity, and more to ensure you get away with the best deal on the internet. Also note that booking during the week rather than the weekend can dramatically reduce costs.

Don’t Forget Downtown

Being the “memory lane” of Las Vegas, the world famous Fremont Street is where the magic of Las Vegas began. Even today, it still serves as a hip spot as Downtown Las Vegas is in the midst of a major redevelopment project. Stop by Binion’s, where the historic poker room once served as the venue of the biggest poker matches in the world. Right outside is the Fremont Street Experience, where a canopy of lights gives a psychedelic show every night. East Fremont has several bars that won’t break your wallet, either. Try Insert Coins, where you can play Street Fighter and other arcade games while boozing (they even have cup holders on the arcade cabinets). Commonwealth is a spacious new bar that has two stories loaded with urban chic décor, while bringing out your inner hipster. The Plaza, Golden Nugget, El Cortez, and many more old school casinos also call Fremont their home, making it a timeless place to visit while in Vegas.
