The surging Carolina Panthers host the Patriots in Week 11 of Monday Night Football. Carolina is one of the hottest teams in the NFL, winning with a dominant defense while keeping turnovers to a minimum. Last week in San Francisco, the Panthers harassed the 49ers’ offensive line, making life difficult for quarterback Colin Kaepernick. The game ended 10-9, thus giving the Panthers the second wild card spot and only a game behind division leaders New Orleans.
The New England Patriots, with all their offensive struggles early in the season are still an impressive 7-2. With their weapons Danny Amendola, Shane Vereen and Rob Gronkowski slowly back to full health, New England is a force to be reckoned with. November and December are especially kind to the Patriots, who have gone 24-1 in the second half of seasons since 2010.
Will Carolina continue their recent success, or will New England continue their dominance of November?
