The fight will be hosted by Amir Sadollah, winner of The Ultimate Fighter Season 7.
UFC 159 is a packed card that will be sure to live up to the hype.
Lightweight
Pat Healy (29-16) vs. Jim Miller (22-4)
Coming off six straight victories in Strikeforce, Pat Healy will try to win his very first UFC victory in a bout with Jim Miller, who will be fighting for the first time since his UFC 155 battle with Joe Lauzon that won him “Fight of the Year” honors for 2012. No matter who wins this fight will win most likely by submission, as both fighters are lethal with their chokes and armbars.

Light Heavyweight
Phil Davis (10-1-1) vs. Vinny Magalhaes (10-5-1)
Phil Davis, another fighter on the card with serious submission skills, has an altered kimura nicknamed “Mr. Wonderful”, which is also Phil Davis’ nickname in the ring. Mr. Wonderful’s last fight was a rematch victory against Wagner Prado, with the rematch being possible due to an accidental eye poke on Prado in the previous fight. His opponent Vinny Magalhaes has won six straight fights, but is a bit inexperienced in the UFC octagon. Look for Davis to try and take the underdog out quick, with Magalhaes using his Jiu-Jitsu to defend and pull out an upset.
Heavyweight
Roy Nelson (18-7) vs. Cheick Kongo (27-7-2)
In this heavyweight duel, “Big Country” Nelson will look to use his ferocious punches against Cheick Kongo, who also has a tendency to use his fists for knockouts (Kong won knockout of the year in 2011 in his fight against Pat Barry). Big Country is an Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights Tournament winner. He may want this fight to get to the ground, as Kongo’s kickboxing experience may be an overwhelming mismatch (Kongo’s kickboxing record is an impressive 23-2).
Middleweight
Alan Belcher (18-7) vs. Michael Bisping (23-5)
Both fighters are coming off losses and will look to rebound with a victory live on pay per view. Belfort is coming off a rematch loss to Yushin Okami in December, while Bisping lost his main event on UFC on FX bout with Vitor Belfort in January. Bisping started off as a light heavyweight before losing some weight and entering the middleweight class, where he has been successful. This may be the coin toss fight of the card. Each fighter has extensive UFC Main Card experience and will not be shy in the Prudential Center’s lights.
Light Heavyweight Championship Fight
Challenger Chael Sonnen (27-12-1) vs. Champion Jon Jones (17-1)
An All-American wrestler at the University of Oregon, Chael Sonnen has been in and out of the UFC as both a light heavyweight and middleweight fighter. Sonnen’s last fight was a loss to Anderson Silva, in which Silva’s elbows and punches knocked Sonnen out. Sonnen has had some controversy in his career as well, being suspended for having high levels of testosterone in 2010. Jon Jones also has a wrestling background before joining the UFC at a younger age, where he had amassed a nearly perfect record. His only blunder was a loss where he was disqualified for illegal elbowing. Jones has held the title for nearly two years, and looks to continue his defense of the title against Sonnen. Jones will face Sonnen’s fearlessness, and should not underestimate the challenger in this matchup.
