Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva (18-4) will have his chance at a UFC Heavyweight Championship on May 25th as he faces Cain Velasquez (11-1). This marks the second time within a year that the two have faced each other in the octagon. The first fight between the heavyweights resulted in a beating served by Velasquez. Many believed that Alistair Overeem would be the contender for a fight against Velasquez prior to the Overeem vs. Bigfoot bout at UFC 156. However, Bigfoot’s victory catapulted him into a number one contender spot.
Also on the card for UFC 160 is Hunt vs. Dos Santos, where a new number one contender may emerge for the UFC Heavyweight Championship. The fights will be held in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
